I'm Desirée Mayon, Founder & CEO of She & HER — a community-first platform built intentionally for the sapphic community. I'm reaching out because WorldPride Amsterdam is the right stage, and we have the right people to activate on it.
Built for connection, friendship, networking, and belonging — not a dating app. A community-first platform designed intentionally for sapphic women, built by one.
She & HER is a sapphic community platform built around intentional connection — friendship, networking, and belonging for women who love women. We're currently in pre-launch, building our founding member community ahead of our v1 release in Q3 2026. Every person who joins before launch becomes part of the foundation of what She & HER becomes.
WorldPride Amsterdam is the largest Pride event on the planet, happening for the first time ever in Amsterdam. 400,000+ people line the Canal Parade route annually — and a significant portion of them are the exact community She & HER was built for. WorldPride also has existing dedicated sapphic programming built into its official schedule. We want to be in those spaces, with our people, with the right voices beside us.
The No Homo Show and Queer Aunties aren't influencers in the traditional sense. They're community builders with real, loyal, predominantly Black and Brown sapphic audiences — the exact community WorldPride Amsterdam's Women & Pride programme was made for.
A Black sapphic podcast, content, and entertainment duo based in the US. Known for their honest, warm, and culturally rooted conversations about queer Black womanhood. They don't just reach an audience — they have a community that trusts them.

A Black and Brown sapphic community events platform, active since 2023. Queer Aunties creates in-person experiences for queer women of color — events that consistently sell out and build real community across cities. They're the IRL counterpart to what She & HER does digitally.

"The sapphic community has always been at Pride. She & HER gives them a home to come back to."
We're not proposing a booth or a banner. We're proposing a genuine community activation — content, connection, and real founding member moments in the spaces WorldPride has already designated for the sapphic community.
Boss Britt, DJ eXeL, Bri, and Shay on the ground at "Who Run the World Festival" (Stoperaplein) and the Saarein café street party on August 1st — the two official WorldPride spaces designated for the lesbian and sapphic community. Meet & greets, QR code moments, She & HER founding member sign-ups, and content that lives permanently on TNHS and QA channels. The No Homo Show has 1.5 million TikTok likes for a reason — people want to be where they are.
Boss Britt and DJ eXeL document WorldPride Amsterdam for their combined 113K TikTok and 163K+ Instagram audience — with She & HER woven naturally into the story. This isn't sponsored content with a disclaimer. It's two people their community already trusts, showing up at the world's biggest Pride and bringing their audience along. The content reaches audiences across the US, UK, and internationally who can't be in Amsterdam but will discover She & HER through the people they follow.
She & HER launches in Q3 2026 — weeks after WorldPride closes. Every founding member we collect in Amsterdam becomes a charter member of a platform that goes live almost immediately. We're not asking people to wait years for something that doesn't exist yet. We're asking them to join a community they can access before summer is over. That's the urgency that makes in-person activation at WorldPride genuinely powerful.
WorldPride Amsterdam's official Women & Pride framing is "We no longer ask for space, we claim it. Women first." She & HER was built on exactly that principle — intentional, by invitation, sapphic by design. We'd love to be part of the Women & Pride programme in whatever capacity makes sense — panel, presence, or simply recognition as a community partner building something real for the community WorldPride is celebrating.
These are official WorldPride Canal Parade weekend street party locations designated for the sapphic and lesbian community. We're not asking WorldPride to create space for us. We're asking to be recognised in the space they've already built.
Official WorldPride street party at Stoperaplein, designated as the lesbian and sapphic main event during Canal Parade weekend. The name says everything. This is where She & HER belongs on August 1st.
Official Canal Parade Saturday street party on Elandsstraat outside café Saarein — one of Amsterdam's oldest and most beloved lesbian spaces. Intimate, community-rooted, deeply aligned with the She & HER ethos.
"We no longer ask for space, we claim it. Women first." A dedicated Women & Pride programme strand running across the full two weeks of WorldPride Amsterdam — the natural home for a community platform like She & HER.
We're coming with the community, the content creators, and a platform that's about to launch. Here's what would make this more than an appearance.
We'd love She & HER, The No Homo Show, and Queer Aunties to be officially recognised within the WorldPride Amsterdam Women & Pride programme and to have a formal presence at "Who Run the World Festival" and the Saarein street party on August 1st. Not a vendor table — a community partner presence. Tabling, QR moments, and the ability to be there with our name officially behind us.
→ Official recognition is what turns a visit into a partnership that both sides can build on.
Getting our core activation team from the US to Amsterdam is the single thing that makes this possible or not. Travel and accommodation support for Desirée and the She & HER activation team would mean everything — and it's how a real partnership works. We're committed to showing up fully. We'd love to know we're not doing it alone.
→ We're not asking for a fee. We're asking to be supported the way partners are.
A listing on the WorldPride website and the ability to carry the WorldPride Amsterdam 2026 partnership in our own materials through the end of 2026. She & HER launches weeks after WorldPride closes. "WorldPride Amsterdam partner" is a credential that means something to our community, our investors, and every room we walk into after August. We're happy to operate within any guidelines — we just want it in writing.
→ The partnership listing turns one weekend into a year-long story for both of us.
She & HER is sapphic, by design. So is everything we're bringing to Amsterdam. I'd love to find a time to talk about what this could look like together.
